*Orbs und Souvenirs wirbelt die Schichten von Erinnerungen, Dingen und Phänomenen auf, die sich über
die Zeit an einem Ort anhäufen. Diese Überlegung stand am Anfang. Orbs beschreibt das fotografische
Phänomen, wenn Licht in einem bestimmten Winkel auf ein Staubkorn oder ein ähnlich kleines Partikel fällt,
das im Moment der Belichtung mit freiem Auge nicht sichtbar ist, auf der Fotografie jedoch einen Lichtreflex
erzeugt, der wie eine geisterhafte Erscheinung wirkt. Mit Souvenirs stellt man für gewöhnlich eine
Verbindung her – eine Verbindung zwischen einem Gegenstand und einer Erinnerung. Souvenirs können
aber auch die Erinnerung selbst sein. Beides, Orbs und Souvenirs, bindet eine Imagination des Vergangenen an
